Dylan grew up in Akron, Ohio and was introduced to the game of golf by his father, a cart mechanic of 33 years at Firestone Country Club. Dylan became obsessed with the game at a young age and dreamed of becoming a professional player, until he found his passion and love for the golf business. He volunteered and worked at Firestone Country Club for 10 years. He then moved to sunny Amelia Island, Florida where he worked at The Golf Club of Amelia Island for 4 years as an Assistant Professional. That’s when he met his lovely wife, Kelly Aylwin, when she was a senior at University of North Florida, and they decided to move back to beautiful New Smyrna Beach where she grew up. Dylan has been at Cypress Head since 2019 and loves calling NSB home.

His passion for the game is seen through his teaching philosophy:

“The game of golf is exactly that a game. We are out here to have fun and enjoy ourselves. Keeping that in mind the golf swing is many small movements working as one. Keeping it simple and using what God blessed us with and making fine-tuned adjustments. Building on what Arnold Palmer said, “Swinging Your Swing.”
