Practice Facility & Instruction
Cypress Head features a full-scale practice facility nestled in the serene Cypress Head community. Golfers will find a spacious practice range with quality Bermuda 319 turf, and ample practice targets. The facility also offers a putting green, chipping green, pitching target green, and practice bunker.
The natural grass teeing ground gets rotated daily to ensure quality turf space. High-vis, optic yellow practice balls allow players to trust their distance and flight trajectory throughout their practice sessions. During the winter months, the course offers late afternoon/early evening practice hours with downrange lighting on practice tees and putting green. Cypress Head has four golf instructors on staff currently offering private instruction, individual or group. Player development clinics, summer junior camps welcome players of all ages, families and groups.
As Central Florida’s leader in club fitting, Cypress Head hosts multiple vendors for fitting days. Cypress Head is a Certified Titleist fitter and also hosts Callaway, TaylorMade, and Cleveland/Srixon fitting days. There are four qualified club fitters on staff at all times to answer questions and manage orders for custom clubs. The golf shop offers a wide assortment of golf equipment available for those who want to learn but haven’t invested in purchasing golf clubs yet.
